Organized by the Turkish Federation of Photographic Art (TFSF) in commemoration of International Women's Day, this competition aims to bring visibility to women’s presence, labor, and impact across all spheres of life. The focus extends beyond professional productivity and achievements in the public square; it seeks to illuminate the often unseen and undervalued forms of labor within daily life. The competition positions women as central subjects who rebuild, sustain, and transform life—whether at home, in the workplace, fields, workshops, schools, hospitals, streets, or any corner of the public realm. The core of this photographic open call centers on women's labor across a vast spectrum: from domestic work and caregiving to industrial production, art, science, sports, volunteer work, and social solidarity networks. The objective is to present a holistic visual narrative of women’s labor, capturing not only its recognized and documented facets but also its quiet, invisible, yet vital contributions that sustain everyday life. The competition ultimately aims to secure a stronger, more equitable representation of women's multi-layered roles within collective memory. Within this framework, the competition treats "woman" not merely as a thematic subject, but as an omnipresent reality, inviting photographers and viewers alike to re-examine the unseen layers of this enduring labor.
