Apart from being a branch of Visual Arts, the art of photography also has the quality of legating documents to the present and future generations. Natural disasters that cause increasing environmental pollution and decrease in energy resources, technological accidents, wars and the deterioration of the ongoing balance between humans being and nature which are unconsciously slaughtered by humans, have generated a global ecosystem problem. In this context, we invite all Photographers to participate in the “ECO SOS - 2nd Nikolaos Manginas International Photo Contest themed Energy and Environmental Pollution’’ in which they would explain this global problem through their own lenses, in order to examine, to think, to accelerate the mobility for permanent solutions and to contribute to ecological awareness.
